Disneyland Resort Sending Cancellation Emails to Visitors With Reservations By way of November 21

While the gradual reopening of Walt Disney World is already well underway, the reopening of the Disneyland Resort has stalled. Hotel cancellations now extend through November 21st.

Guests with existing reservations will now receive emails informing them of the cancellation. These are as follows:

Dear Guest,

We are sorry to inform you that your upcoming visit with us will be affected by several closings. We are aware that the COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving and there are many factors that will help us determine when various aspects of our business will responsibly reopen.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will remain closed and will reopen at a later date, subject to state and local authorities. The Disneyland Resort hotels are also closed and will reopen at a later date. In light of this unprecedented situation, we thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this process as responsibly as possible.

Unfortunately this means that we cannot accept your upcoming hotel room reservation. If you have already changed or canceled your upcoming Disneyland Resort hotel room reservation or the Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package, no further action is required.

To provide additional flexibility, we are waiving Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees until the check-in date for reservations arriving by November 21, 2020. If you cannot contact us for that period prior to your check-in date You will not be penalized or penalized by Disney-imposed fees for canceling your Disneyland Resort hotel room reservation or Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package after your check-in date.

Note that some package components are non-refundable and subject to third party cancellation policies. You should work directly with third parties with whom you have booked parts of your vacation package that were not booked through Walt Disney Travel Company, including flights, travel coverage and rental cars.

To cancel or change your reservation, please contact the Walt Disney Travel Company at (714) 520-5050 between 7:00 a.m. PST and 9:00 p.m. PST 7 days a week. If you are a resident of Canada please call (800) 496-6337.

If you originally booked through a Travel Professional, please contact them directly if you have any questions or would like to make a new appointment.

The resort had previously canceled reservations through November 14th. Only the Downtown Disney District is currently open to guests. Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure will reopen for shopping and dining on November 19th.
