You Can Now Book a Boozy and Nostalgic Getaway in Australia’s First Gin-Themed Caravan – Concrete Playground

If you’re a traveler looking to not only plan where to stay and what sights to see, but also what to drink during your stay, then add Australia’s newest accommodation option to your dream vacation list. The Botanist Van, a collaboration between RV rental company Camplify and The Botanist Gin, is the first gin-themed trailer in the country – and yes, a bottle of gin is waiting for you when you get there.

Nicknamed Mazzy the Van, the vacation spot on wheels has been painted in shades of beach blues and whites, while the Hamptons-style interior has been designed with a touch of the serious’ 70s vibe as one of its destinations. The renovated 1979 Viscount Royal vintage caravan features a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs, and awning, plus indoor and outdoor games, a parasol and beach towels and a picnic basket. However, it’s the stocked Botanist Gin Bar Cart that will make you thirsty.

During your stay, enjoy a free 700 milliliter bottle of The Botanist Gin, a 4-pack of Fever Tree Tonic Water and Botanicus’ herbal tea tube. You’ll also pair all of that with dried fruit toppings and other ingredients to make gin cocktails. The team of botanists have some new suggestions for the latter as well, including a G&T spin of your own – so all you have to do is shuffle and sip.

If this sounds like your kind of getaway, the Botanist Van can be booked from Friday, November 6th through the end of summer (February 28th, 2021) from USD 140 per night – for four people and for a minimum of three nights . However, you will need to curl up over a weekend to receive the gin package as it is available for bookings Friday through Sunday and Saturday through Monday.

The van is located on the south coast of New South Wales, where you have a few drinks, sit back and get nostalgic. It can be reserved and set up at a campsite of your choice within 100 kilometers of Flinders – between Austinmer and Jervis Bay.

To book The Botanist Van, with rates starting at $ 140 per day and rentals within 100 kilometers of Flinders, New South Wales through February 28, 2021, visit the Camplify website.
